Loft Extension Herne Hill

This family wanted to move the master bedroom upstairs into the loft to create a play room for their two teenage boys.  The brief was light, bright and minimal.

Clever use of storage in the eaves it has kept the room uncluttered and a calm space for sleep.

The walls are a lovely warm French grey @littlegreene with a complimentary bespoke roman blind with mustard accents picked up in the @margoselby cushions.

The @anglepoise lights add a modern feel and practicality for bedtime reading and space saving for the small oak bedside tables.

Taking the same brief for the shower room we combined two different tiles to create a simple but striking design around the vanity wall and inside the shower. 

The focal point was a bespoke vanity unit painted in @farrowandball hague blue, to compliment the tiles, with a white marble top.  This gave the necessary storage and practicality needed.  An alcove was created above the loo to create more storage which was also painted in hague blue.
